- Q: Can I use jetOPTIMUS® for cells grown in antibiotic-supplemented media?
- A: Yes. Unlike many other reagents, jetOPTIMUS® is compatible with media containing penicillin/streptomycin, meaning you don't have to change your media before or after transfection.
- Q: What is the primary difference between PEIpro® and standard branched PEI?
- A: PEIpro® is a highly characterized, linear polyethylenimine with a narrow molecular weight distribution. This results in significantly higher viral titers and better reproducibility compared to "home-brew" or lower-grade PEI.
- Q: Is jetMESSENGER® suitable for co-transfection of DNA and mRNA?
- A: jetMESSENGER® is optimized specifically for mRNA. For co-transfection, we generally recommend using jetOPTIMUS®, but for high-efficiency mRNA delivery in neurons or stem cells, jetMESSENGER® is the superior standalone choice.
