HansaBioMed - Working with biofluids is not easy and it includes several challenges to be careful about, but our tangential flow filtration (TFF) cartridges are here to simplify your workflow and improve your results!

When isolating EVs from urine, one main challenge is to eliminate highly abundant Tamm-Horsfall protein. In this recently developed tech note, we highlight how different TFF cartridges can be combined for an optimized urine EV isolation workflow, ensuring minimized THP content.

While ensuring THP removal, TFF-based protocol also provides high particle yield and high purity in quite short turnaround times. This way, the protocol sets another example of how the versatility of TFF can open new frontiers in EV research.

FEATURED PRODUCTS

Active Motif has a collection of small-molecule epigenetic modulators (activators and inhibitors) that target changes to DNA methylation and chromatin remodeling proteins, such as histones. These include targets to DNA Methyltransferases (DNMTs), Histone Acetyltransferases (HATs), Histone Deacetylases (HDACs), Histone Methyltransferases (HMTs), Histone Demethylases (HDMs) and a distinct set of chromatin readers, bromodomains. As epigenetic dysregulation is implicated in many diseases, these modulators represent important tools for researchers in their assay development and drug discovery initiatives.
